Are you ready to be part of a brand-new cybersecurity project management office that will help build the necessary project management infrastructure and resources to support cyber vulnerability assessments across all the DoD?

Cyber Synergy manages a team supporting the Strategic Cybersecurity Program Office and is seeking a strategic, Executive Level Sr. Technical Writer. Candidate will leverage their technical writing skills and also participate in executive level communication and briefings, ensuring data is digestible and communicated in a way that High Level Government Officers can use and measure success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Write and edit executive level communication to ensure technical information is successfully communicated to senior level audiences at the highest level of the DoD
• Conduct quality control reviews of SCP integrated artifacts to produce final reports that communicate the message with ONE VOICE
• Ensure successful written documentation and knowledge capture of ideal plans, processes, and standard operating procedures for our cybersecurity PMO office (and provide regular refinements)
• Leverage your written communications skills to ensure successful knowledge transfer across all facets of the SCP PMO, customers, and to the teams performing the cybersecurity evaluations
• Facilitate the development of standardized processes and for the planning and management of the evaluations of large scale DoD systems
• Support the creation of training materials
• Provide edits, proofreading, and grammatical corrections to cybersecurity evaluation reports and act as the final quality control editor prior to approval for release

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10+ years of technical writing and/or cybersecurity experience with a HS diploma OR a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Communications/Related Field and 5 years of technical writing and/or cybersecurity experience
• Demonstrated experience writing executive level communication
• Knowledge and/or experience with working in the IC, military operations, or cybersecurity
• Experience with the latest release of Microsoft Office Products, Adobe, and Visio
• Demonstrated experience in Strategic/Senior level communications and technical writing, editing, proofreading
• Experience creating tables, advanced reformatting, and inserting graphics or tables in lieu of paragraphs

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Cybersecurity certification (Sec+, CISSP, etc.)
Experience on project teams working with cybersecurity, vulnerability assessments, or military operations
